Zat BBQ, Yeah?
A Note from Debbie: Something I will never forget is when my cousin Pascale from France, asked me "You from Texas, you know how you make homemade BBQ sauce. Yeah?" I remembered how to make baked beans, so that is the sauce I put on the ribs! But the real winner, was my cousin's version of BBQ chicken. Here it is! enJOY!
Ingredients
2-1/4 cups plain yogurt
1 teasp. ground ginger
3 garlic cloves crushed
2 teaspoons of paprika
2 teaspoons of salt
1-1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon coriander
Fresh pepper
1/4 teaspoon cloves
3 pound chicken with skin
Instructions
Combine all ingredients. Add chicken. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours. Grill for about an hour.
