Behind the Scenes.... Our first shoot, April 21st. It was exciting. Especially when Stormy the Weather Dog snuck into the kitchen and gobbled four mini-burgers while our cooks were in the hallway.

"Yeah! Clothes! "

"My dressing room doubles as a public restroom!"
"Bonnie, telling me what to do again!"
"Can I put my makeup on now?"
"Is Debbie done with her makeup yet?"
"The awesome operations crew at CBS19."

FUNNY OF THE DAY:  Our first shoot came with a few blunders -- like me forgetting my wardrobe at the restaurant and having to go back and get it. But the funny of the day was the cup links. My set stylist, Ana, was using a two-way radio so that she could communicate with our cooks. Little did Ana know that she was on a different frequency from our cooks. So Ana kept asking me for cup links. What are cup links? Ana replied, female plumbing parts. Why would our cooks need female plumbing parts? (Turns out Ana was talking to truckers.)

Thank you Phil Hurley and

CBS 19/KYTX for believing in this show, and that connecting mom-to-mom might be the secret ingredient for a more delicious world. Dishing with Debbie airs during Primetime on Mondays at 5pm on CBS19. If you live in the East Texas area, please tune in!
