Cheese Puffs
1 loaf firm, unsliced white bread.
1 package 3 ounce cream cheese
½ cup butter
2 egg whites
Trim crust from bread. Cut into 1-inch cubes. Melt the cheese and butter in top of double boiler until right consistency. Remove from heat, fold in stiffly beaten whites. Dip bread in cubes into cheese mixture until well coated. Place on cookie sheet and refrigerate over night. Bake in hot oven 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until puffy and golden brown.
