Greek to Me Lemon Herb Fave
Note from Debbie: "My husband likes Greek chicken. When we first married, I had no idea what Greek seasonings were. So I improvised. What I came up with would probably be 'greek' to the Greek. Even so, Ken loved it better than the traditional lemon pepper he was accustomed to."
Ingredients
5 TBSP dried basil
4 TBSP dried oregano
2 TBSP ground black pepper
2 TBSP powdered onion
2 TBSP celery salt
1 TBSP garlic powder
2 teaspoons of fresh lemon zest; dried
Instructions
Whisk together all of the ingredients. Sprinkle desired amount over chicken before baking. NOTE: Allow zest to completely dry out before adding to spices or storing in air tight container.
