Note from Debbie: I have a weakness - it is Rice Krispie Treats. When I tried this crispy recipe for the first time, it quickly became my weakness, too. The only difference is this one is a smidge healthier!"

Ingredients
1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 teasp Watkins vanilla
2 cups quick cooking Quaker brand oatmeal
1/2 teasp baking powder
1 teasp ground cinnamon

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a 9 inch square baking dish. Mix together brown sugar, oil and vanilla. Add Quaker oats, baking powder and cinnamon. Blend thoroughly. Batter will be thick. Press firmly into baking dish. Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until edges are golden. Cool for 7 minutes then cut into squares. Store in air-tight container. enJOY!
