Waffle Dipping

A Note from Debbie: Okay, so I admit it, when Marissa was little I over-did the bib thing! She wore bib after bib after bib! When we were in France, Marissa was digging into these yummy waffles (wearing my new shirt!) and you would be so proud- I restrained from grabbing a bib from my purse! I have to admit Waffle Dipping can be fun!

Ingredients
One big box of instant chocolate pudding
1 cup of milk
1 teasp. Almond Extract
2 TBSP chocolate syrup
4 prepared Waffles, (follow instructions on pancake mix for making waffles)
1 cup of heavy whipping cream
1 teasp. Vanilla
1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

In a medium sized bowl, whisk milk into pudding. Add almond extract and chocolate syrup. Let set in refrigerator for five minutes. In a separate bowl, whip 1 cup of heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until thick. (Peaks should hold their shape.) Fold whipped cream into set pudding. Chill or serve immediately by spooning dollups over warm waffles. Garnish with strawberries. Drizzle with chocolate syrup. Dust with powdered sugar. TIP: When preparing waffles from pancake mix, add one teaspoon of vanilla and 2 TBSP of sugar for a sweeter waffle.
