What was he thinking when he wasn’t thinking!
Is it just me — or, was this my husband’s way of saying he wanted to become a Thursday Thoughtable?
You may recall in my previous post that our family recently sustained a few break throughs… While pacing in his attic, my brother in law’s foot went through their ceiling, then my car door fell off while ordering ice-cream cones. Chocolate dipped. That is why my driver’s window needed to stay rolled down. It was the only way to get in and out of the car. (Which, by the way it was —– down, completely in the above gushing water sprinkler photo.)
Lucky for my front seat, it had been a very long, hot day. So it was thirsty. Fortunately for me, I was driving Ken’s truck tomorrow. He wanted to take mine “in” (thought maybe the dealership could fix the dangling door better than he had. Hmmm…) So, I was wondering — do you think I should remind my husband that he is the one who told me to leave the window rolled down? That we were switching cars tomorrow?
Raindrops keep falling on my car…..
Today’s Life Recipe: Let the sun shine in. Especially if dad is watering the grass!

That is too funny!
I have to giggle at this post! The silly and onry part of me say, NO don’t tell him!!! Just put a little note on the steering wheel - SURPRISE!
What a week! I bet he is kicking himself for trading for today.
It looks like you all have had some bad luck with the cars lately.
When it rains it pours!
Did you tell him about the wet seat before he sat on it? hehe
Don’t tell him and if he complains later just remind him when it rains, it pours!
Oh .. don’t spoil the fun and tell him! Chances are he’ll be at the dealership before he figures it out!
Thanks for your visit to my blog!! It’s always nice to meet new people!
That shld be enuff water supply for ur front seat for at least the whole yr! hahaha So Ken doesn’t need to ‘feed’ it water anymore.
How does a car door fall off while ordering ice cream cones?????
I once had a door get damaged when a large gust of wind blew it open harder & further than it was intended. I had to get it fixed & a bit of body work to the front quarter-panel. I can’t imagine what it took to get a door to the point of dangling!
Hi Debbie….thanks for visiting my blog. I enjoyed yours too and have enjoyed meeting others thru blogging. I also ask How does a car door fall off while ordering ice cream cones???
Hahahaha!
Oh, man…that’s hilarious! Was he going for a Van POOL, lol?
Well, I think I beat your story this time. A number of years ago I was taking a Saturday class at the local college. We had a two car garage but a one car driveway. I normally pulled my car into the garage on the right side (straight shot down the driveway). However, this Friday night my husband had pulled his car in my spot so I had to park on the other side of the garage. When I went to pull my car out on Saturday morning, while trying to manuver my car out of HIS side of the garage, I “hung” my car up on the garage door spring. I couldn’t go forward or back. Ended up taking my husband’s car to class and he had to remove the whole bumper to get the car out of the garage. LOL.
How kind of your husband to give you something to blog about! LOL! Good luck with your car door!
Oops honey!
I had a car kind of like that too and I had to have the window down to open it. When I was 9 months prego it just wouldn’t open at all and i had to climb over the other seat to get out! Let me tell you, that was the last time I drove it like that. Refused until hubby fixed it!
My older kids and husband complain when I blog about them. How can we resist when they give us such good material?
